Databricks acquired Einblick (Natural language data science notebook).
The Riverside Company and portfolio company Montel AS acquired Energy Brainpool (European power market analytics) and Qwatt (Power purchase agreement forecasting).

Audience Town (consumer insights for real estate) raised a round led by Wasatch Equity Partners.
Compa (compensation market data) raised $10M in a Series A led by Storm Ventures.
Meteomatics (weather intelligence) received an investment from Lockheed Martin Ventures.
Wisedocs (medical record review, indexing, and summarization) raised $9.5M in a Series A led by Information Venture Partners, Thomson Reuters Ventures, and ManchesterStory.
New Company Launch
Varun Khurana and Shreyas Jaganmohan launched Interviewer, building fully automated conversational interviews for companies and individuals using AI. Give it a try here for a mock system design interview. Interviewer can be used by individuals for interview practice and companies who need to screen candidates at scale.
