My friends at Nomad Data recently launched Transcript Chat, an AI-powered tool that allows anyone to analyze thousands of transcripts with unprecedented speed. Whether you’re in finance, consulting, corporate strategy, or research, Transcript Chat helps you uncover hidden trends, patterns, and insights from earnings calls, AGMs, investor days, M&A announcements, and more, processing up to 10,000 transcripts per minute. Transform raw transcript data into actionable intelligence across industries in seconds.
With Transcript Chat, users can quickly answer questions like: What are the top recurring themes mentioned when talking about the economy? Which companies are firing and how many people did they mention letting go? What did companies say about the strength of small business spending? What did every PC manufacturer say about memory chip availability by quarter?
Features
Mine information across tens of thousands of transcripts in minutes.
Customize your AI agent to extract exactly what you’re looking for across all transcripts.
All the transcripts are preloaded and updated in real-time.
Benefits
Transcript Chat delivers insights as though you read through thousands of transcripts yourself.
Unlike ChatGPT, Transcript Chat reads every line of every document, not just a few snippets.
Unlike keyword-based tools, Transcript Chat uses AI to understand the context and nuances of the text, ensuring it captures relevant information even when it's phrased differently.

People Move Callout
I want to give a special congratulations to Ben Eisenberg on taking the reins as CEO of People Data Labs. Ben started with the company as an intern and was most recently VP of Innovation. Ben is a good friend, phenomenal data meme-maker, and throws a great quarterly data happy hour where I’ve been fortunate to meet many other data folks and investors who I’ve developed meaningful relationships with. More info can be found in the company update here.

String automates the process of extracting data from the web. Collecting web data at scale is challenging due to frequent website updates, sophisticated bot detection, and complex compliance requirements.
String handles all of these challenges to enable customers to build collections in minutes. Users simply need to enter the website and data schema - String’s AI agents will then clarify the extraction logic and delivery format to start delivering data on a consistent schedule.
The company was founded by Rohit Shenoy (prior Bain) and Logan Harless (prior C3 AI, Credera). I’m personally very excited about this launch, having gotten to know Rohit well over the past year while String was in stealth. Check out their website and reply to this email if you’d like an intro.
Monda is a spin-out from Berlin-based Datarade. The company provides an all-in-one data monetization platform, already used by over 150 DaaS companies. Key features include integrations with cloud data platforms, data marketplaces, CRMs, and dedicated data storefronts.
The company announced it raised $5M in a Seed round led by Senovo and Acrobator Ventures, with participation from Techstars.
Monda was founded by Thani Shamsi (former Zeotap) and Richard Hoffmann (former ARGO Trade Solutions and Audibene). I’m also excited about this one, having visited the team in Berlin where we had beers at one of the coolest bars I’ve ever been to, and seeing Monda and Datarade partner with a few other companies I advise in the ecosystem. Check out their website and reply to this email if you’d like an intro.

Alex Boden’s Analysis of 8 Data & Analytics M&A and Fundraising Deals, 1 IPO and a Spin-Off - Sept 2-5, 2024. Alex’s newsletter is a must-follow and very complementary to It’s Pronounced Data. He has a great perspective on the space and provides thoughts and deeper insights into deals in the space.
DaaS needs to focus on product and differentiation, not plumbing featuring Bobsled (I’m an Advisor) in World of DaaS.
