Deal Highlights
Semrush announced an integration Datos’s global clickstream data in its suite of products. The company also shared that they acquired a majority stake in Datos in December 2023.
Datos has made an exciting splash on the data scene, introducing a new, anonymized global clickstream dataset to the market. The company provides advanced analytic capabilities to investors and corporations to understand web activity and trends in consumer behavior.
Datos was founded in 2019 and is led by CEO Eli Goodman (former Jumpshot, comScore). The company has offices in NYC, Spain, and Germany.
Semrush was founded in 2008 and is led by CEO Oleg Shchegolev and President Eurgene Levin (former Target Global and Foresight Ventures). The company went public in 2021 under the ticker symbol NYSE:SEMR.
